  My mate and I did the 6 hour Kitesurfing Beginner Course with Elemental and were quite disappointed with the quality of the lessons and feel fairly ripped off and discouraged over all.
  I was expecting that after the lessons I would have the training to be able to, at least at a basic level, ride independently, as is advertised on their website. We were never provided the opportunity to attempt any water starts on our own and my mate wasn't even taught how to launch or land a kite from the beach (the instructor would always launch the kite and then pass it to us, and visa versa when landing). We weren't taught any theory of riding up wind or any theory on changing direction or slowing down, as is advertised online on their lesson plan, and spent most of our time with the kite practising body dragging over and over again.
  I understand that some people can be slow learners however my mate and I are fairly fit and I have a lot of experience with sailing as well as board sports like surfing, snow boarding and wake boarding. If we weren't able to complete the course in 6 hours, I don't understand how many others would.
  The website advertises that at the completion of the course we would receive an IKO kiteboarding membership card. We were never provided this.
  
  Overall, after the lesson we were left high and dry without IKO membership, without an opportunity to attempt water starts or board riding independently and one of us without practise launching or landing a kite. If for what ever reason they thought we needed more time to complete the course, the instructor didn't offer us any follow up lessons or way forward.
  
  This company has a lot of positive reviews so I'm not sure if we were unlucky with our instructor or if they're not as good this year or what but with so many other kitesurfing schools around, spend your money else where, even if it costs a little bit more, I guess you get what you pay for.

  I have been kiting for over 5 years now and can say with absolute confidence this is the best kite school in Perth. When it comes to the experience and knowledge of the instructors they are second to none. The school is highly professional and very reliable. If you are not looking to learn how to kite (although I suggest that over any sport!) Elemental offers a number of different activities and packages, for all levels of experience and fitness. And its not all in just one location either! So weather depending they will find the ideal spot for you to learn.

  My wife and I had a great time trying out Kite Surfing. The power of these Kites give you such an exhilarating feeling! Even if you have never done anything like it before, give it a go, you'll be surprised how quickly you can pick up the basics :)
